AI video ad cost in Egypt and the Gulf: the short answer

There is no single price for an AI video ad. At U3, every ad is scoped from a short brief and quoted as its own project, with no public rate card and no fixed packages. The number depends on what the ad has to deliver: its length and number of scenes, how many cutdowns and vertical versions it needs, the languages, the characters, the revision rounds, the delivery formats and the media rights.

What AI changes is where the money goes. With no physical shoot there is no studio day, no location to rent, no crew to fly and no reshoot when the next version of a product launches, so the budget goes into direction, design, animation, sound and the versions the campaign needs. For production, payment is 50% to start and 50% on delivery. The page on AI commercials and launch campaigns shows what a campaign scope covers.

What sets the price of an AI ad

These seven things shape a quote. Knowing them before you write the brief brings the first proposal closer to the final one.

  • Length and number of scenes: each scene is designed, generated, animated and graded, so a film with more scenes is a larger production.
  • Cutdowns and vertical versions: U3 scopes campaigns, not seconds, so the hero film, its cutdowns, the vertical versions, the key visuals and the language versions are planned together.
  • Languages and dialects: each version in Gulf, Egyptian or Modern Standard Arabic, English or German gets its own lip-synced voice-over and on-screen text, not subtitles.
  • Characters: a brand character or presenter is built as a locked identity that stays the same across scenes, films and whole campaigns.
  • Your product and your footage: the product is built from your real product shots, and real footage you already have can be cut with AI-generated shots.
  • Revisions: key-frames come to you as stills with a free revision round before animation starts; big changes after animation restart the stage.
  • Delivery formats and media rights: vertical, square and wide versions, and the media, territories, duration and purposes the ad may be used for, all written into the statement of work.

Where an AI ad costs less than a shoot

The saving is in how the ad is made, not a discount. U3's product ads are made with no studio day, no shipped samples, no talent day rate and no reshoot when a new flavour or size launches. Because there is no shoot to redo, variations to test, such as different hooks, endings and languages, are made inside the same production rather than with the next budget.

Distance does not add cost either. U3 is based in Alexandria and produces for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar remotely: briefs arrive by WhatsApp or email, stages are approved online, and international clients are invoiced in USD. There is no crew to fly, no equipment to ship and no location to rent. See AI video production for the Gulf.

One published music video shows the size of the difference on a single project. Baddak Ya Habibi, a 3:04 film set across New York, was completed in about two weeks at roughly a fifth of a conventional international location-shoot benchmark for that project, a figure confirmed by U3. It is one project's comparison, not a rate.

Payment terms, usage rights and cancellation

For productions, U3 takes a 50% deposit to start and 50% on delivery, with no hidden fees and no surprise line items. U3 Growth work, meaning marketing strategy and campaigns, social media management, design, media buying and UGC-style ads, is scoped and priced per brief.

Commercial usage rights and ownership are defined in each project's statement of work: the media, territories, duration and purposes the film may be used for. They transfer to you with the final payment, subject to the licences of any third-party assets or tools used in production. Where a specific right matters, such as broadcast or paid media in a given territory, it is confirmed in the statement of work before production starts. The terms are set out in the rights and AI policy.

If you need to cancel, the deposit is fully refundable before work begins. Up to the voice-over stage, the portion of work not yet done is refunded, and once animation starts the production is committed. The details are on the refund policy page.

Two published examples

Al Ahly Academy UAE: the official 2026/27 season-launch film for the academy's branch in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. Real 4K footage from the academy was combined with AI-generated cinematic shots, among them Cairo Tower, the eagle and the transition into the UAE, and cut to a 1:38 film with original sound design. The objective was the season launch and attention toward enrolment; no enrolment figure is published.

Product ads that sell: short vertical ads for real products in Qatar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. One story ad for Fine Mattress in Qatar sold 65 mattresses, as reported by the client. Across these ads U3 works in four formats, story, feature, UGC-style and hypermotion, without a studio day.

How to get an accurate quote

Send a short brief on the project form: what the ad is for, who it speaks to, where it will run and the launch date if you have one. Add your logo and product shots, any references you like, the markets and languages, and the deadline. An agency can brief U3 for its own client, and an NDA can be put in place before any confidential material is shared.

You get a reference straight away. The team reads the brief and comes back with questions or the next step; if there is a fit, a call follows, then a scoped proposal, never a rate card. A focused ad lands in days, not months, and the timeline is agreed at the brief stage.
