Rostom: a full sales platform for a car-accessories store
Rostom is a family car-upholstery and accessories business in Alexandria, with a showroom in Smouha and, by its own account, roots going back to 1980. U3 built its full sales platform: an Arabic-first storefront with an English version, a vehicle picker that remembers the customer's car, a catalogue by category, a cart and customer accounts, order tracking, and request flows for custom upholstery, a fit check and wholesale.

The business problem
A family car-accessories business with a showroom in Alexandria needed to sell online — to drivers of every kind of vehicle, in Arabic — without a customer buying something that does not fit their car.
Why the obvious approach wasn't enough
A car-accessories customer's first question is whether a product fits their car. A store selling upholstery, covers, mats and accessories for every kind of vehicle — family cars, microbuses, pickups, trucks, buses and scooters — has to answer that before anything else, and has to say plainly what installation costs and what is made to order.
Product strategy
Start from the vehicle. The customer picks their car once — type, make, model, year — and the store remembers it on every visit, and on any device once they sign in. Fit is confirmed product by product, and when it cannot be, the product says it needs a size check instead of guessing. Installation — free, priced or not available — and made-to-order upholstery are stated on each product before checkout.
UX & design
Arabic-first with a full right-to-left layout and an English version, light and dark themes, search across the store, a category bar on desktop and a bottom tab bar on phones — home, categories, my car, cart, account — and WhatsApp one tap away, for the showroom and for wholesale.
